摘要
The use of electrets in electrical insulation makes it possible to extend the limits of field strength redistribution. Examples of insulation between coaxial electrodes show the possibility of reducing field gradients at the dielectric interface. If one of the layers is gaseous, the electret charge is maintained and discharge is prevented. Analytical dependencies between the electret charge and other parameters are obtained, allowing discharge currents to be reduced and operating voltage to be increased. The results of the article can be used in the development of methods to increase the electrical strength of high-voltage devices, as well as in the analysis of phenomena associated with dielectric charging (electrical breakdown, emission of charged particles).
