摘要
Thermal cracking processes give rise to a number of phenomena that considerably affect the characteristics of the main cuts such as gasolines, gas-oils and residues. These phenomena compromise some specifications which condition the use of these cuts during the process or in the blending phase of finished products. This report examinates the most penalized characters also related to the official specs of finished products, and considers the methods available today to correct them, in view of the payback and the environmental problems.
