Software engineering in an electronic engineering degree course

摘要：
The teaching of software engineering to students of electronic engineering is discussed. Software engineering is defined as a concentration of the mind on the process of developing software and, as new techniques become available, the ability to change that process to encompass those new techniques with a method of using them. Industry should be encouraged to participate throughout the course.
