Three-layer polyethylene (3LPE) and polypropylene (3LPP) are among the most rugged plant applied corrosion protection systems available for underground and sub-sea pipe. The 3LPE coating has a long track record of being one of the best performing coatings for a pipe body in rugged conditions up to 82 C (180 F). The 3LPE holds the same status for temperatures up to 110 C (230 F).
