摘要：
Over the past decade, Fairfield's healthy population growth has resulted in a demand for increased services, including public drinking water. In 2001, Fairfield officials decided to upgrade their existing lime softening plant with an electrodialysis reversal (EDR) system. The combination of lime softening and EDR worked out very well and produced a good blended product.
