摘要
The chemical composition of iron based nickel-cobalt alloy type 29NK was analyzed relative to its thermal expansion, grain size distribution, and fracture behavior. Investigations were done by metallography, x-ray diffraction, dilatometry, fractography, and chemical analysis for various component contents. Ratios for optimum values of the linear thermal expansion coefficient and other properties were determined. Charpy impact tests were also conducted. Grain size distribution and sintering conditions were also shown by electron microprobe analysis to exert an influence on the thermal expansion coefficient.
