摘要
Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) technology and the dedicated last mile link offer unprecedented scalability for interactive video services. It is the basis for the point-to-point architecture which serves as the key to providing a combination of interactive video and broadcast services. By offering these new video services over ordinary telephone lines, users will be able to determine how they view television content and will also change the home entertainment landscape.
