摘要:
A theoretical model was established, including analytical formulas of laminar flow of wet surface channel and those of turbulent flow in reference, which are applied to predict the performance of cross flow evaporator with falling film. The calculating results agree well with the experimental data. Investigation on heat and moisture transfer process demonstrates that this kind of evaporator can be used as the direct evaporative cooler and the desalination unit of sea water in accordance with the magnitude of water entry temperature. The parameters influencing the performance were presented, such as inlet temperature, mass flow of moist air, mass flow of water and size of evaporator.
