Automatic calibrator for telemeter recorder saves time, improves accuracy

摘要
A device is described which is used for periodic calibration of telemetering receiver- recorders. The recorders are located at the 20 interconnections of the Central Louisiana Electric Co with neighboring utilities. The device automatically performs checks, commonly referred to as 10- 90 checks, in 7. 5 min as opposed to the 15- to 25- min manual time. In addition, it eliminates the inconvenience of having a technicial at the dispatch center and at the tie point, in order to perform a calibration.
