摘要
Heat affected zone (HAZ) simulation techniques were used to investigate the stress relief cracking (SRC) response of conventional steels. Postweld heat treatment (PWHT) and thermal simulations were used for the purpose. Optical and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) using thermal cycles were used to study microstructure of the coarse-grained heat-affected zone (CGHAZ).
