U.S. cement industry. Demand and price considerations of profit

Some observations on the state of the industry are offered. The U.S. cement industry has passed through a 'devil's triangle: fragmentation, overcapacity and volume. Corrective changes are now in place: cost cutting, limited capital expenditure and emphasized production efficiency. A more demanding future is forecast. The article considers pricing policies and draws some profitable lessons.
