The paper presents experimental results on mass transfer from single Taylor bubbles in a H//2O-CO//2 system at Re numbers ranging from 80 to 2,200. In the thin boundary layer approximation calculational relations are obtained for mass transfer coefficients under conditions of laminar and turbulent flow past slugs. The calculated results agree satisfactorily with experimental data.
