摘要
A program for development of curriculum and laboratory equipment using undergraduate student engineers was discussed. Students were exposed to a real world design problem and all of the inherent related issues such as working on a design team, interaction with highly skilled technicians and budget constraints. It was suggested that the program could obtain the desired laboratory equipment and provided the students with a challenging and meaningful design experience. Comments from the students engineers on their thoughts towards the utility of the program and what they gained from it were also discussed.
