摘要
A method for measuring the thermal characteristics of a dilute solid solution of Ni-0. 12 at. %Cr up to 640 K is developed. The method of determining the thermal conductivity depends upon a relation between the maximum temperature ( THETA //m) attained for a given current and the potential difference in a current-carrying specimen. For the measurement of the specific heat, a homogeneous constant Joule heating is imposed. The initial slope of the rise of THETA //m as a function of time is inversely proportional to heat capacity regardless of heat losses. The experimental results are compared in terms of general behavior with the data for similar ferromagnetic materials.
