摘要：
The equipment described includes five 110-ton basic oxygen vessels, two 200-ton electric furnaces and four curved mold single strand casting machines. Production rate is 2,200,000 tons per year of 12-in. thick slabs in steel grades 1008 through 1035. Low alloy carbon grades are also cast into slabs. Carbon steel ingots are not made at McLouth; stainless steels are poured into ingot molds.
