Microstructure of laser melted layer on Cr12MoV steel

摘要
The microstructure of laser melted layer on Cr12MoV steel is revealed as austenitic dendrite by transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and X-ray diffractometer. There are interdendritic eutectic carbides and a little secondary carbides, but no martensitic transformation is presented. Thus, the hardness of the steel is reduced after laser melting treatment.
