Principles and theoretical considerations of Costa-Ribeiro-Effect (thermo-dielectric effect) in application to examination of curing of plastics are followed by a description of materials testing apparatus developed for dielectric measurement to determine the curing degree of hardening thermosetting resins. Use of ultraspectroscopy for curing control is also dealt with in this comprehensive report. Results of curing control of epoxy resins are presented and discussed.
