The results of tests of the mechanical properties of samples of steels SW18 and SW7M for use in the working parts of broaches are presented, as well as the results of tests of the mechanical properties of broach holders of three different shapes, namely, circular, truncated circular, and flat, leading to a recommendation to change the Polish standard for broach holders.
