Principles and methods for development of computer software to function the forging packages

Computer software is being developed on the base of the solution of all forging technological problems and represents the mathematical models and algorithms of system for provision of the computer-aided forging package functioning. Three levels of mathematical models are suggested: micro-, macro-, and meta-levels. Simulation and optimization of processes on the meta-level, whose the origin is macromodel, are considered. Specifically, the control programs are calculated by CAD based on the approximation of billet shaping laws and deformation effort as well as on the forging regime optimization.
