摘要：
Since 1963 polyethylene tubes have been used at feedwater treatment plants in the USSR due to their corrosion-resisting properties. The testing of frontal polyethylene piping is described. 63 and 110 mm polyethylene tubes were tested for 5000 h. The life of these tubes is estimated at 50 years at temperatures up to 50 degree C.
