摘要
In recent years attention has been paid to the problem of heat transfer with steam condensing on a bundle of horizontal tubes. Analysis of the literature leads to the conclusion that there is no single point of view regarding physics of the process and method of predicting mean heat transfer. The author considers this process for the conditions of condensation of stationary steam. Heat flux was determined from heating of the cooling water in tubes and the quantity of condensate formed. Tests were carried out at pressure p equals 0. 11 MPa within a range of change in heat flux density of 4 multiplied by 10**4 to 3 multiplied by 10**5 W/m**2.
