The principle of the SGC (Spacer Gage Control) system and the computer program design are described by the manufacturer. The performance of the control system in a four-high cold rolling mill rolling copper, brass, bronze, German silver, and Cu-Ni alloy strip 150 to 320 mm wide and 0. 20 to 3. 0 mm thick is reported by the user.
