摘要
The authors investigated solubilization of octyl and decyl alcohols in aqueous micellar solutions of cetylpyridinium chloride and also studied the influence of these systems on formation of the porous structure of aluminum hydroxide. Our investigations show that treatment of freshly precipitated aluminum hydroxide with surfactant solutions with additions of higher alcohols leads to formation of loosely packed structures of adsorbents, whose sorption capacity varies in accordance with structural changes of the surfactant micelles, which depend on the nature and concentration of surfactant and solubilized alcohol.
