It is of interest to look for new methods of increasing the electronic efficiency of a TWT for the case of amplitude-modulated signals. This paper is devoted to an investigation of one possible method of improving the electronic efficiency of a TWT for the amplification of amplitude-modulated signals on the basis of an intermediate action of an LF voltage on the beam in the region between sections of the slow-wave structure (SWS).
