摘要
Surface treatments with differing rates of mulch and surface modifications were implemented on an abandoned asbestos mill site near Globe, Arizona. Treatment areas were seeded and interplanted with woody species in the summer of 1981. Surface modification and mulching enhanced successful plant establishment. 'Cochise' lovegrass was the most successfully establishing species. Of the three interplanted woody species, velvet mesquite and catclaw acacia showed excellent survival.
