摘要：
The design of VLSI systems presents new problems of complexity in high-level system specification, logic design, simulation, testing, verification and physical design. This article discusses some of the new methodologies and tools which are currently being investigated, in order to assist the VLSI designer to find a way through this 'complexity jungle'.
