摘要：
The new tape sensor is a capacitive pickup with a driven guard to minimize the capacitive shunting to ground, thus maximizing the output. Great lengths of this sensor tape can be utilized with minimal effects on the response of the field meter. The characteristics of this sensor are discussed, with special attention to the cylindrical sensitivity pattern parallel to the tape, and to the calibration.
