摘要：
In power system control problems, the linearized description of the system represented by transfer functions, which relate outputs with inputs, needs estimation from time to time under changing conditions of load and generation pattern for optimum dynamic performance. In this paper, the applications of steepest descent, optimum gradient and conjugate gradient methods for parameter estimation in a single area power system are discussed. The convergence characteristics are presented.
