摘要
High-strength nodular cast iron is characterized by high corrosion resistance and mechanical properties. Impact toughness of cast iron of VChShG grade at -60°C is higher than that of St20 steel. This cast iron is perspective structural material. However, this cast iron is difficult-to-deform material. Its plasticity has been improved by means of introduction of modifiers. Chemical composition of the cast iron has been optimized. It has been smelted in induction furnace using the 08ZhR iron, carbon material, ferrosilicium, the alloying composition, and rare earth alloy. Ingot casting has been applied. Conditions of centrifugal casting and rolling have been developed.
