摘要：

The inhibitor efficiencies of BTA and MBT in 0. 2 M NaCl on copper were obtained by weight loss measurements and with BTA by potentiostatic polarization method also. Later these inhibitors were used with lacquer and resin coatings for preventing tarnishing of copper in air. Results of using VPI inhibitor papers and using filters like ZnO and TiO//2 with lacquers as coatings for preventing tarnishing of copper are also given.
