摘要
A system for measuring the application rate, potential runoff and the soil infiltration rate under center-pivot irrigation systems was developed. The infiltrometer is similar to the Purdue-Wisconsin type with improvements to increase the utility, portability and accuracy of the apparatus. The primary improvements in the system are the addition of an electronic water level sensor and a digital data logging system. The experimental procedures developed for using these instruments under a center-pivot irrigation system are also described. Results of tests for the various types of sprinkler packages and spray nozzles are presented to demonstrate the use of the infiltrometer. The performance of the individual components was satisfactory and the vacuum infiltrometer provided a measure of the potential runoff under the center-pivot irrigation systems.
