The influence of the degree of reduction on the spread of the deformation texture has been investigated on rolled (011) left bracket 100 right bracket single crystals of the alloy Fe plus 3% Si, together with the influence of the spread of the deformation texture on the recrystallization texture. A substantial change has been found in the character of the spread of the deformation texture as the reduction increases, the main texture components remaining the same.
