摘要：
A procedure to resolve control valve noise problems in refining and petrochemical plants is described. The procedure, which has proven to be economical and feasible, is based on sound engineering analysis, and can be easily adapted to other noise-control problems with other valves. Examples are given of actual case histories used in establishing this basic procedure.
