摘要
The economic performance of a drinking water supply installation is influenced by the mechanical, electrical and civil engineering aspects. A multiplicity of parameters have to be taken into account and varied during the overall engineering of a pumping station. The best complete concept for a particular installation can only be obtained in conjunction with the plant engineer, by variation of the NPSH, speed and number of pumps employed, type of configuration (open or closed system), not forgetting ease of servicing.
