摘要
Statute law imposes a duty on both the maker and user of machinery to ensure that it is safe. In practice, we see from legal case studies that the obligation usually falls upon the user. We must therefore ensure that all new and exiting machinery, plant and equipment is completely safe. The principles of guarding re discussed and illustrations of good and bad guarding are given.
