摘要
A Monte Carlo program, using single scatter cross sections and phonon scattering theory, was developed to analyze elastic and inelastic scattering of electrons and to obtain electron and hole distributions in insulators subjected to electron bombardment. The design of the Monte Carlo Algorithm is based on a simple electron transport model-a collision-by-collision description of each electron track, using interaction probabilities derived from individual elastic and inelastic scattering cross sections.
