摘要
The authors carried out a new heterogeneous catalytic reaction for producing a homologous series of aromatic alcohols on fused iron catalysts from a mixture of CO and H//2, containing several percent of phenylacetylene (P equals 25-100 atm, 130-165+20,CO:H//2 equals 2:1-1:2). 3-Phenyl-1-propanol and its homologs, primarily of normal structure, containing from four to eight carbon atoms in the side chain, were identified in the catalyzate by a combination of physicochemical and chemical methods. Thus, for the first time oxygen-containing aromatic compounds have been produced on the basis of CO and H//2, instead of the traditional products of this synthesis - aliphatic hydrocarbons and their monofunctional derivatives. The act of chain generation in the reaction under consideration is a catalytic interaction of phenylacetylene, CO, and H//2, leading to the formation of the corresponding primary complex.
