Problem of Neglecting the Nonlinear Couplings in a System of Differential Equations Describing the Motion of a Mechanical System.

A mechanical system is considered in the analysis, the motion of which is described by a system of n first order ordinary differential equations. In the analysis, the possibility of neglecting the nonlinear couplings in the system of differential equations is dealt with.
