General aspects of fatliquoring: an introduction to the application and chemistry of fatliquoring

Following a brief history of fatliquoring, the production and properties of sulphated, sulphited, cationic and non-ionic oils are discussed. Factors affecting the distribution and effects of each type of oil are described together with practical application advice.
