摘要
This paper models cumulative fatigue damage by using Miner's linear damage rule, Henry's, Corten-Dolan's ratios of minus 1 and 0 for low-high and high-low stress sequences. Titanium alloy (6Al-4V) was used in this investigation. Close agreement between the theoretical and experimental values of fatigue damage and fatigue life has been revealed. After a comparison Miner's rule is found popular, simple and conservative. Kramer's equation predicts less conservative, and more realistic cumulative fatigue damage.
