摘要
In order to vary the excavation method to suit the mixed ground expected and provide continuous support the Zokor company has designed a shield that can be divided by two horizontal platforms to split the large face. The 10. 5m diameter fully shielded tunnelling machine is capable of being rebuilt in a smaller shield so as to construct the adjacent lengths of running tunnel 8. 7m diameter. This article discusses various characteristics and specifications of the tunneling machine and anticipated job conditions.
