UK POLLUTION CONTROL: NEW INITIATIVES IN INDUSTRIAL TRAINING.

This paper discusses the necessity of spreading the environmental concerns within the United Kingdom industry. One way of solving this problem is by the provision of attractive, economical, and flexible training schemes in environmental management and pollution control. In the UK the importance of environmental training has been increasingly recognized in the last few years. One of the main recommendations is for a scheme to provide a series of self-study distance learning packages on various aspects of pollution control environmental management.
