摘要
Many different principles for Digital-to-Analog Converters (DAC) exist; this paper proposes a new Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) type DAC. We consider here a PWM DAC in which the PWM pulse is separated into component pulses to allow the LPF cutoff frequency to be raised for higher-speed operation. In this Separated Pulse Width Modulation (SPWM) DAC technique there is no need to convert serial digital input into parallel, so the circuitry can remain simple.
