摘要
The data available in the literature on the changes of linear thermal expansion coefficients (LTECs) upon the action of induced radiations are summarized for the native structural carbon materials (SCMs) that are irradiated with high fluences. The dose dependences of the LTEC changes are compared for different types of native and foreign SCMs in the temperature range of 300-1600 K and the fluences to (2-3)&middot1022 n/cm2 (R>0.18 meV). A comparison revealed the factors that are responsible for the changes of LTECs under neutral irradiation. The interpretation of the observed phenomena is offered. Large number of the factors that have an effect on the coefficients makes it impossible to calculate the changes of the LTECs upon the action of induced radiation without experimental studies.
