摘要
Multilayer insulating system is proposed as an improvement of the insulating properties of materials used in high voltage equipment. The electric field of a point charge in three or more dielectric layers placed on a plate electrode is calculated on a digital computer by the method of images. It is found that the distribution of electric field in the multilayer insulation is also affected by the change of temperature.
