摘要
A full Navier-Stokes code has been developed for predicting the aerodynamic properties of axisymmetric spinning projectiles. This code can simulate the entire flowfield of projectiles, including vortices and separation. In the present paper, the O-type elliptical grid generation method coupled with an explicit multi-stage, high-resolution upwind flux-difference split scheme (Roe's scheme) are applied to solve the steady axisymmetric full Navier-Stokes equations. In order to compare with experimental data, the secant-ogive-cylinder-boattail (SOCBT) configurations with and without the rotating band at a Mach number of 0.94 and Reynolds number of 1.3×107 per meter have first been computed. The results show that accurate aerodynamic properties can be obtained by this code. Moreover, since no Mach number restriction exists in our computation, several supersonic cases are also shown in this paper. It seems this code can be used as a good tool for the optimal design of the configuration of projectiles.
