摘要
One of the major fields of application of lasers in general and of the ILA-190 in particular is spectroscopy. The novel radiation properties of the lasers enable a number of investigations not feasible with classical light sources. Laser-emitted radiation features an extremely narrow spectral band width, high spectral output densities and the capability of generating ultrashort light pulses by means of active or passive mode locking. Other applications of argon lasers include holographic recognition systems, holographic grating, and acoustic holography.
