Computational schemes are presented for evaluating heat transfer when heat carrier properties vary. They are based on a two-layer model of turbulent flow and ideas about the hydrodynamic analogy of heat transfer. A comparison of calculated and experimental data with respect to heat transfer during the heating or cooling of a heat carrier is presented.
