All heated water has not only recovered heat but is a source of good, clean water if properly collected and used in another part of the water system where heated water is used. Common usage is in an open hot water tank which would hold the water until needed, and at the same time heat the water to a uniform hot water temperature. Several potential sources of usable waste water which are cited are air compressor cooling water, dryer cooling water, and side-arm heat exchangers.
