摘要：
Bearing selection is an excellent example of an area where advanced analytical techniques can be used. Bearings play an important part in the reliability and performance of most machines, yet bearing technology has reached a stage where dramatic improvements in their performance cannot be expected in the immediate future. Considerable advances are, however, taking place in the methods used to predict bearing life under actual working conditions. Among the factors considered in the article are lubrication, misalignment, adjustment and useful life.
